BATWG Launches Rebrand by Offering More Financial Support and Services than ever before!!

Located in the heart of Central Texas is a nonprofit organization like no other.

“Whether a family of 4 is in need of rental assistance to keep a roof over their heads, or a tired, stressed-out mom just needs a hair cut to lift her spirits, Blessed Are Those Who Give is here to serve the community as a beacon and bridge to relieve that tension.” Founder and Executive Director, Dove Bennett, proudly exclaimed.

Blessed Are Those Who Give (BATWG), founded in October 2022, is truly a one-of-kind organization in which financial assistance and support is provided to a range of individuals and families for not only basic human necessities, but also for those wants and desires that boost self esteem and morale.

Though originally founded as a peer-to-peer lending Facebook Community, BATWG was non relaunched as an organized exclusively focused on charitability, community growth, and public service purposes. Although the primary recipients of funding and assistance, reside in Central Texas (Bell & Coryell County), they occasionally provide assistance to individuals and organizations throughout the globe, particularly to their community Facebook group and during natural disasters.

Even more unique, BATWG provides funding, support and/or resources to individuals below a qualifying income level determined internally within the organization, allowing for more grace and flexibility towards the working-middle-class who are often turned down for assistance. Assistance from the organization is provided either on an as needed or ongoing basis, and generally ranges in value from $20-$1,500 per donation, with larger amounts provided on a case-by-case basis.

Although operations were slow in the year 2023 due to health issues experienced by the Founder and Executive Director, the Board of Directors were able to reconvene this month with a whole new game plan to provide all new services. In this game plan, the organization has vowed to provide over $50,000 in financial assistance to individuals and families around Central Texas.

“Anything that we can do to uplift the Central Texas community is what we’re going to strive to do, because it ultimately benefits the community as a whole,” stated Dove Bennett. “So as we celebrate our one-year anniversary, we look forward to the future with hope and optimism. We are excited about the potential of what we can achieve together as a community. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us. Let’s continue to spread generosity, one step, one act, and one dollar at a time”.
