With 2021 being a fresh start for so many, I’ve felt compelled to share stories of success, perseverance, and overcoming from some amazing entrepreneurs. The first entrepreneur that I’d like to introduce you to is Crystal Willis. Crystal Willis is a Corporate Marketing & Communications Brand Strategist, Thought Leader, and quickly blossoming “Queen of Cannabis.” Hard to fit into one box, she is a 17-year Entertainment Industry Veteran, Entrepreneur, Author, Speaker, Mindset Coach, and Media Maven.
Over the last 17 years, she has been instrumental in business/artist development, marketing, and publicity campaigns for releases in the music, film, and television industries for major corporations and productions such as CBS, Universal Music, Warner Bros. Records, Disney Music Group, CodeBlack Entertainment, TV One, The Stellar Awards, NAACP Image Awards and Pan African Film & Arts Festival. Most notably, Crystal is a birthmother from teen rape and has resiliently overcome a number of challenges throughout her life including homelessness, depression, and abuse. Willis holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Marketing from the University of Phoenix, and an Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts from LA Valley College. She is a Senior Leadership Graduate of Mastery in Transformational Training and is currently studying for a certification in Neuro-linguistic Programming. She also studied Voice and Music Business Management at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
