There’s nothing quite like the feeling of being your own boss. You can set your own hours, take on as much or as little work as you want, and be in complete control of your career. It’s no wonder that so many people aspire to become entrepreneurs. But there’s more to entrepreneurship than just flexibility and freedom. A recent study found that individuals who are entrepreneurs are more likely to have higher mental health scores than those who are not. The study, which was conducted by the University of Pennsylvania, looked at a group of individuals with varying levels of entrepreneurial experience. The results showed that those with more experience as entrepreneurs had higher mental health scores than those without any entrepreneurial experience. So what does this all mean? Essentially, if you’re thinking about starting your own business, you may want to do it for more than just the financial benefits. Becoming an entrepreneur could also lead to a boost in your mental health.
